100% Private by Design

PasteLink is built with a core focus on user privacy and security. We believe that your data belongs to you. We do not require any registration, we do not track your activity, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

All interactions with our database are secured through backend serverless APIs, meaning your data cannot be scraped or accessed directly by unauthorized tools.

Password Protection

When you protect a paste with a password, your password is never stored in plain text. We utilize the SHA-256 cryptographic hashing algorithm directly in your browser before the request is even sent to our servers.

This ensures that we only store an irreversible hash. We physically cannot read your password or decrypt the paste without it.

Burn-After-Read & Auto-Expiry

You have full control over the lifespan of your shared text:

• Auto-Expiry: You choose whether the link expires in 10 minutes or up to 7 days. Once the time is up, the link is permanently inaccessible.
• Burn-After-Read: If enabled, the link is unconditionally permanently deleted from the database the moment it is accessed for the first time. It is destroyed on the server securely.

No Tracking or Analytics

We do not use invasive tracking pixels, advertising frameworks, or complex third-party analytics. The only data processed is the text you share for the strict purpose of hosting it temporarily as per your rules.
